Victoria Gemological Institute Limited (VGI) head office is registered in California, United State, and with branches located in Hong Kong and China. VGI is accredited for ISO/IEC 17025 by the Laboratory Accreditation Bureau (L-A-B) on the 9th June 2014 and In 2016, ANAB merged operations with the Laboratory Accreditation Bureau (LAB).The scope of accreditation include physical testing for Diamond and Fei Cui. In addition, VGI was also accredited for calibration on 8th November 2016, showing VGI is competent to issue the calibration certificate for the electronic balance, digital caliper and electronic gemstone gauge. With this status and according to International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Mutual Recognition Agreement (ILAC-MRA), the test and calibration results are under the scope of accreditation is recognized by 70 economies and 85 Mutual Recognition partners.
